Effects of street focus in Vastu
In Vasthu, any street focus on a plot actually distrubs the
bio-electric magnetic field in and around the plot to a great
extent, either by amplyfying the imbalance in energy dynamics
or by attenuating the positive energies.
The street that runs and focuses on to any side of a plot is
called a 'spearing street'. This is also referred to as
'therukuthu' in Southern states and 'veedhi shula' in the
'Northern states. People are generally scared of this
particular phenomenon. The figure shown gives eight
directions of street/road focuses on a plot. All the
different types of street focus or 'spearing streets' do not
necessarily render bad effects as generally believed. Out of
12 possible street focuses on a plot, four street focuses on
the central portion of any side of a plot are neutral, four
are harmful and four are good. The 'veedhi shula' or street
focus, is perhaps, the most powerful of all Vaasthu
parameters, especially in fortifying the good/bad powers of
Vaasthu. Several case studies reveal that in both the good
and bad 'veedhi shulas', the Vaasthu effects are excessively
pronounced. Some of the Vaasthu properties of different
street focuses are summarised in the following table:

Among several recent researches street focus or street thrust and its effects is prominent. In the earlier period there does not appear that street thrusts was a prominent aspect of vastu shastra. However modern scholars have done extensive research on the same and unearthed several facts unknown till now.
If one wants to know the good or bad effects of the street thrusts such houses having street thrust will have to be identified and examine the exact state of residence. One has to study the residents over the years how prosperous or other wise and then draw inferences. One cannot draw any conclusions based on superficial observations alone. Lets take an example of northeast street focus. As per vastu such street focus is generally greatly beneficial to the occupants. Yet this may not be always so. And on other hand suffering ? how is it that some or caught in unexplainable entanglements ? some utterly poor becoming very rich beyond imagination and some not so? If one has a headache mere thinking about it is not a solution. Instead a tablet would do the trick. How ever it is easier said than done in respect of the problems one faces in life. Effort of mankind is always to find solutions, for such seeming insolvable situations. Mankind, since industrial revolution, has indeed solved many unimaginable things. The situation has also become fertile to fraudulent people and cheats too. I came across an interesting situation in this regard.
Vastu shastra is a proven and a practical science. An innocent person became a victim to a fake vastu consultant. (This matter is came from www.subhavaastu.com)This happened in Nalgonda District. On the request of a Jawan of Armed forces I was studying his house in a remote corner of his district. (Incidentally Its well known that my vastu consultation to members of Armed forces is free). While I was seeing his house, he narrated a peculiar incidence in the house of one Bheema Naik (name changed), since his condition was miserable, he consulted a fake vastu scholar and sought his advice. That cheat saw a golden goose in Naik and gave him a Talisman and asked Naik to worship the same for seven days and then hang it right opposite the main entrance and do daily prayer to that, and charged a sum of two thousand rupees as initial advance and later twenty thousand rupees as fees and also feed seven scholars for seven days. Poor Naik was an easy victim. Even after several months, the problems remained as they were. Naik felt he was cheated and wanted to confront the imposter. It was too late, he could not locate him. Many of the people do not like to pay the vastu scholar his legitimate fees and fall easy victims in the end (to such fake scholars and in fact loose far more in the bargain). All this happens because of improper vastu of his own house. A genuine vastu scholar does not recommend Talismans, pooja, and the like. He looks at the house and physical environs and makes his recommendations.
No doubt fate is fatal. Yet one has to face the same and try to overcome. The one boon God gave us in this regard is Vastu. Earlier saints have written several treatises on this subject, also present scholars have contributed to this science tremendously by conducting original researches in various aspects of vastu, Their struggle in this regard has indeed been phenomenal. One street thrust brings fortune to one family and the same may not be so to another. Studying all these varying aspects and coming to logical conclusions has indeed been a great feat accomplished by the present day scholars.
We should always remember one cardinal principle. What ever be the surroundings our home should atleast be vastu compliant, for we may not be able to modify or correct external surroundings by applying remedial measures in our own house. It is however possible to mitigate some of the influences of external factors.
Such street thrusts are a part of neighbourhood vastu.
Let us examine how such street thrusts affect the residents. Where does the street gains strength to either be benevolent or malevolent ? This can only be assessed by seeing the street alone.

East Street Focus :-
If one street hits to a house or factory it’s called as Street Focus, and also its called as Veedhi (Bheedhi) shoola. Whether that street is in good place or bad place but the effect is so powerful. If one house is having good street focus then the inmates of that house will be getting regular good alerts, all success, happy, health, wealth, joy, harmony, unexpected profits, sudden good happenings and etc.But here a street hits on east side of the house or factory, some times this street focus renders good results and some times it renders bad results, why because, if the street focus left side or hitted house right side is having others houses, then the east side street focus will give good results to the house.
Vastu East Agneya | Southeast towards East Street Focus :-
If one street hits house from east agneya, it is called as eastagneya street focus . This east agneya starts from the part of east middle point and south corner side that is agneya corner. The place in between has been called as East Agneya. Regarding east agneya, this part is a very sensitive part of the directions and auxiliary directions, we must have to take full care on this part. If Agneya disturbs wrongly constructed it will manage our daily life or day to day works, it dominates our peaceful life and we have to search for the peace.
If one house is having east agneya street focus, the inmates of the house will continuously worried for the daily day to day life, all the matters are disturbed, this east agneya street focus is a very bad and dangerous street focus, it causes poverty, theft, gives untraceable diseases to the inmates of the family, especially damage to the ladies and 2nd child of the house, this street focus is the witness for daily problems, quarrel, cruelty, power madness.

If one street focus hits one house at South side then it’s called as south street focus. This street focus is auspicious. Here we have to take some important points to be considered as this street focus power pressurizing. Sometimes this street focus is rendering very normal results, and sometimes it will effects bad results why observe the things.
If there are neighbor’s houses at southwest corner to our house then, the south street focus will give good results, otherwise the inmate has to pay mere penalty for this street focus. EW: The Black Hat School, founded by the spiritual leader, H.H. Grandmaster Lin Yun, is primarily practiced here in the United States and in Europe. It is an evolution of traditional practice but is much more accommodating to the Western way of thinking.
Both traditional and Black Hat schools say there are nine different life stations that sit inside all of our spaces waiting for us to trigger them with our intentions. Both schools use a bagua map of those same energies to show where and how anyone can engage them.
Some Black Hat basics involve the use of the [[Bagua Map for Each Roombagua map, which gives a general idea of where each of the nine energies are located inside any space. The map we use to determine where specific or particular energies reside in your living space is a static map and doesn't change.

This same area that is associated with your job is also associated with the water element. Any symbol or actual representation of moving water in this area will also bring a flow to your job intentions such as:
Water fountain (the feng shui gold standard)
An aquarium or fishbowl
A picture of moving water
The real deal is of course the hope, but the energies can move swimmingly simply by affixing a picture of a waterfall anywhere in this same area. Water, water everywhere and then they’ll be plenty of job opportunities to dive into!
The relationship area is located on the upper right hand grid of the bagua map. Traditional feng shui symbols believed to bring activity to these energies of love and commitment are to put in pairs here. The number two represents or symbolizes partners or the two of you.

If It’s Broken Fix it
The next step after you have gotten rid of the clutter is to repair or replace anything that is broken. It’s easy to take this step beyond clutter if you make a checklist of items in need of repair.
Bathroom
Many things in the bathroom can create an energy drain and steal your money as surely as you flushed it down the toilet.
Repair dripping faucets - Leaking water means a slow but steady drain of your funds.
Leaky toilet seal – Replace the broken seal
Tank stopper – You don’t want your toilet to be running all the time. Replace with a tank stopper kit.
Always keep the toilet lid closed - An open lid means energy rushes from your home like a vacuum cleaner sucking up your resources and finances.
Replace depleted toilet paper and tissue boxes.
Replenish soap bars.
Kitchen
Many of your appliances can create chi energy drains, too. Move beyond clutter by going through your kitchen and take inventory of broken, damaged and partially functioning appliances.

Beyond Clutter: Things You Can Do
There are several things you can do to assure the chi energy flows freely throughout your home.
Replace burned out light bulbs
Unclog stopped up or slow drains – Clogged sinks, shower, bathtub drains can stop the flow of chi and your finances.
Throw away full vacuum bags and replace with new one.
Replace broken windows.
Fix squeaky doors.
Tighten loose doorknobs.
Don’t leave brooms or mops leaning against doors - Place them inside a closet out of the way. A broom or mop creates sweeping away energy. You want good energy to enter your home and through your doorways, not to be swept away.
Don’t leave shoes at the front door - If you ask people to remove their shoes when they enter, then provide a place inside a closet to store the shoes. By leaving shoes at the front or even back door, you are allowing the energy and even shoe odor to travel with the entering chi throughout your home.
Make sure entryways and exits to your home are well-lit.
Don’t allow ice and snow to block the walkway and entranceways to your home.
Regularly paint exterior and interior of home.
Clean wall plates and fingerprints from doors and walls.
